About GABB
The Georgia Association of Business Brokers, Inc. (GABB) was formed in 1986 at Atlanta by a group interested in developing a specialization in business brokerage. Many of the founding members already had commercial real estate experience. In 1994, the organization held its first State Conference with attendees from throughout Georgia, a tradition which has continued with each year’s Conference surpassing the last.GABB has broker and agent members active in business brokering.
GABB also has Affiliate members who are professionals in industries that actively support the business brokerage and merger and acquisition (M & A) industries. These include attorneys, CPAs, financial planners, lenders, appraisers, environmental experts, and more. These affiliates provide a network of the best professionals to enhance GABB brokering members’ work with sellers and buyers. See our Membership Listings for Broker and Affiliate Members.

GABB offers all business broker members the ability to post and update their business listings to our web page without having to pay an additional fee. We have listings for more than 300 businesses and the listings are growing every day. Our updated website will allow members to verify their membership information, access to GABB member-exclusive forms and documents, post and or ask questions to brokers and affiliates in a members-only chat forum.
GABB members have signed a comprehensive Code of Ethics and actively participate in co-brokerage transactions for superior service to business buyers and sellers. GABB is the only professional association and MLS in Georgia dedicated to the business brokerage and M & A markets. Through monthly educational/informational meetings, two annual conferences, and periodic courses, all members strive to achieve and maintain the highest levels of professional qualification.
