He earned his real estate license while still in college, obtained his broker’s license before the age of 21, and purchased his first investment property using commissions as the down payment. From the very beginning, Tom has believed in leading by example.

After graduating from Indiana University with a degree in Finance during a 20% prime rate environment, he built a strong foundation in sales and negotiation with industry leaders including Pitney Bowes, ADP, and Enterprise. That discipline continues to shape every transaction he structures today.

In 1998, Tom founded Business Acquisitions Brokerage, Inc., specializing in the sale of privately held companies. During the Great Recession—when transaction volume declined significantly—he expanded strategically and launched Commercial Experts, Inc., a full-service commercial real estate brokerage.

Today, Tom operates at the intersection of:
